If anyone of you have ever been wrongly accused by MS of using a pirated copy of windows, here’s something you might wanna try:
1 – del "%HomeDrive%Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataWindows Genuine Advantagedatadata.dat"
2 – Go to http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/validate.aspx to re-validate your copy of XP.
That’s it, if you have a good key, then you won’t get any more WGA alerts.
(And of course, for those of you who are on a blacklisted key and are too lazy to find a crack for WGA, you can simply:
1 – Kill and block "wgatray.exe" from running.
2 – Delete the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogonNotifyWgaLogon" .
