Linux shell I/O

For those of you who are new to Linux or shell scripting, I’m sure you’ll find this article a very interesting read:

It covers the I/O commands you’ll need for most things – though it didn’t mention one way you may see stderr being redirected to stdout – "2>&1" , but now you know ;-) .
